Dear 2baba;
As you celebrate 25 years on stage, we wish you'd first acknowledge these individuals who were the first to ever believe in your artistry ever before the world saw you.
They were the first to ever contribute to your growth as an artist.
People like Baba Ojonugwa J.F.O who penned your first ever composition titled PATIENCE, people like Victor Tsetiim, John Attah Abah, Martin Sule, Alfred Okeme & the same Baba Ojonugwa who were your first band members in the group "Black Universe".
Mr. Francis Pine & Joseph "Spitz" Igonmu who first discovered your talent & played a significant role in your early days in Makurdi.
Augustine "Blackface" Ahmedu who destiny used to bring you to where you are today.
All the staff and students of Mount Saint Gabriel's secondary school Makurdi Benue state from 1986 to 1992 who were your first support base & first fans ever.
We also wish you would recognize the impact of the legendary Catholic missionary Rev. Fr Angus Frazer on your growth & music career today.
These individuals saw your potential, believed in you and helped shape your journey & career when no one else saw what you had.
We encourage you to acknowledge their contributions and give them their flowers now not when you are no more.
I remain sincerely yours
Ojabo Idibia
(not a relation but I know the story from the scratch in Makurdi, Benue state, Nigeria)
